Silly ad #2: Victoria’s Secret Angels Air Push-Up Bra
Notice, please, that she just rhymed air with air. How big is Victoria’s Secret’s advertising budget? Couldn’t they afford to hire an actual writer to come up with a clever limerick? Oy.
So it’s t minus 6 days ’til Between the Worlds opens. Tomorrow is the big day. We’re moving into Mixed Blood tomorrow with all our stuff. This load-in is a little more complicated than most because we have to make sure that back stage is ready for 45 actors. There’s plenty of space but we’ve gotta make sure that we anticipate any and all problems that might come up.
I’m getting more and more excited for the show. We ran the whole thing with the band almost without stopping on Friday. It’s a good sign that such a thing was even possible.
November is going well. Every now and then I take a little time for melancholy but overall I haven’t had time to think about the weather or the time of year. It feels good to be working and creating and connecting. Being out of school helps, too, I think. This fall has been new and the activities that I’m pouring energy into give me energy back instead of sucking it all up.
And so my life is a seemingly constant string of theater and Scrabble and beer and friends and television. It’s a pretty good life.
